1. Download Google Earth software from http://earth.google.com/download-earth.html.

2. Install Google Earth software.

3. Click on Current Beach Hazard KML’s link
 http://oceansafety.soest.hawaii.edu/features/downloadkml.asp?file=HawaiiBeachSafetyConditions.kmz

4. Click open when a  pop up message appears on screen, Google Earth will then open HawaiiBeachSafetyConditions.kmz file.

5. Under Places tab menu, click on the island and then hit

6. Under Layers tab menu, make sure that only Terrain, roads and 3D building layers are turn on.

7. To change the speed of the tour click the “Tools” menu and open “options”. Under the     

      “Touring” tab you can adjust Tour speed and Fly-to speed. Click “Apply Settings” followed by “OK”. For new settings to take effect you have to stop the tour (click the black square under “Places” tab menu, and then start the tour again with the play arrow.
