.A low pressure system approaching the islands from the northwest will bring the threat of slow-moving bands of showers, with embedded heavy rain.
...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON... The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Molokai, Lanai, Maui and Kahoolawe.
* Through Thursday afternoon
* A band of heavy showers over Molokai will move east slowly, likely bringing flooding rains to Molokai, Lanai, Maui and Kahoolawe through Thursday afternoon.
A Flash Flood Watch means heavy rain leading to flash flooding is possible.
Unmonitored lands and waters in the impact area described in the alert will also be impacted.
If conditions change before expiration or the event needs to be extended, an update or cancellation will be issued from Hawaii Beach Safety Website.
